Co-Founder, Managing Director, Zambezi
Chris co-founded Zambezi in 2006 at the age of 28. As Managing Director, Chris oversees all aspects of client relations and business development. He has helped to grow the agency into an internationally recognized creative hot shop with over 80 employees, and four offices worldwide: LA, Carlsbad, NYC and Shanghai.
Under Chris’ guidance, the agency has been the recipient of a number of industry and business awards, including Ad Age Small Agency of the Year – West Region (2011), no. 5 on L.A. Business Journal’s List of Fastest Growing Private Companies (2012) and placing on the Inc. 500|5000 List of Fastest Growing Companies in the US three years in a row (2011, 2012, 2013).
His passion for the business, natural instincts and proclivity for developing strong working relationships with clients has facilitated Zambezi’s growth and notoriety within the industry, partnering with blue chip companies like The Coca-Cola Company, Footlocker Inc., Caesar’s Interactive Entertainment and TaylorMade-Adidas Golf Company.
Prior to founding Zambezi, Chris spent his early days at Fallon working on accounts like United Airlines and BMW, before joining Wieden+Kennedy in Portland, Oregon as the account leader on the coveted Nike advertising business.

On a personal note, Chris grew up in Minnesota. He is one of five brothers, all high achievers in their fields – including one brother who’s currently on staff as a coach for the Green Bay Packers. Chris is married to a college athlete with an MBA from Northwestern, and they have a 6-year old daughter and 4-year old son. They live in Venice Beach on the west side of Los Angeles.
